Ever wonder WHO feeds 200+ kids at a time?

The United Way of Genesee County's Backpack Program supplies

bags of weekend meals and snacks to more than 200 students each

week of the school year.

The bags of food provided in this program are packed weekly

with volunteers from the AIM and WOW programs

at The ARC of Genesee Orleans.

This program is made possible by the generosity of the following sources:

Judy Anderson


Judy works for The Boy Scouts of the Iroquois Trail Council.
While enduring a busy and stressful location move of their offices, Judy agreed to set up shop to be one of our drop-off sites for the Women United coat drive. 

Even though her car was packed to the ceiling with warm garments, she continued to wait out the day and take on additional colossal amounts of donations.

Judy stayed into the evening and help unload the thousands of donations received.

Oh... let us not forget to share that she pre-gamed the coat drive by knitting dozens of beautiful scarves for it.
