Genesee County’s United Way campaign has begun and continues through April 8.
Making plans for the campaign are, from left, Debbie Kerr-Rosenbeck, director of the Genesee County Youth Bureau; Pam Whitmore, director of the Genesee Office for the Aging; Vicky Rippel of Americorps; and Jamie Beedham-Rada, United Way regional director.
The county campaign includes the Genesee County Courts Facility, all county buildings, the Department of Social Services, County Nursing Home, Mental Health, Job Development, Facilities Management and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department. “We are hoping for community support and a great campaign from our county workers,’’ said Beedham-Rada.
